Week 2 opened with the Survivor bloc tightening its grip. Devens took the HOH, making it two straight weeks the power stayed with the Crossovers — now merged with the Red Corner into the eight-person Toolshed. Before nominations, the first Time Capsule resolved: America voted Angela in, and she came out with a punishment rather than a power — the Egg Detective costume.

Devens nominated Jason, Lyric and Melody as pawns, with Rome the real target by backdoor. The nomination ceremony turned into a free-for-all of aired grievances, and Rome’s own hierarchy got exposed when it became clear Lyric and Jason were the two he wanted protected — which tipped him off that he was the target.

Rome wasn’t drawn to play in the Veto, and Devens won it himself in a puzzle competition — holding both halves of the week’s power. After days of debating whether to save Melody or Lyric, he pulled Lyric down and named Rome the replacement, against the read of most of his own alliance. Melody made it plain that if she survives and wins HOH, Devens is the first name on her block.

That left Rome, Melody and Jason heading into Thursday’s Blockbuster with roughly seven votes already locked against Rome. But the back half of the week was the majority worrying about itself: Drew and Barrett quietly cut a two-man final deal inside the Toolshed, Dee spent Wednesday threatening to blow up both their games if they swung to save Rome, Taylor started seeding the idea that Jason had the votes to survive a Jason-vs-Melody finish, and Rome’s guys-only last stand leaked before it ever happened. By Wednesday night Devens and Dee were in the HOH room planning to bluff a Time Capsule power they don’t have

Drew walks her through the wind-tube ball comp.
Drew: “The best way to do it is — the air is coming from the bottom. So the balls are coming up. Drop your whole body all over the air.”
Melody: “Like, deadass like this?”
Drew: “No, deadass like this. The more you can cover, the less air is going through.”
Melody: “Literally get on the floor.”
Drew: “Yes, because then there will be less air coming up and the balls won’t be moving as much or as fast.”
Melody: “Because you just cover all that air.”
Drew: “I didn’t want to tell you in front of everybody, because I don’t give a f*** about what they do. I’m pretty sure that’s the way to do it — you cover all the air that’s pushing through, because then there’s less air and they’re all going to go to one side of the corner. Or you also wear a baggy shirt and do this and have them all fly in.”
Melody: “So they drop the balls and then there’s no more balls. So you just have to figure the f*** out.”
Drew: “Yeah. If you cover the air, then the balls can’t move as much. Or at least they’re enclosed in one side of it. So that’s how you do it. Don’t tell anybody.”
Drew: “If it’s that one. It literally might not even be that one.”

On the other format they’re expecting.
Melody: “I’m wondering, what else was the other one? Like the spot-the-difference room thing? So you go in one room, and it’s literally a room.”
Drew: “They’re both just identical rooms, and they need to see how many differences there are.”
Melody: “And when you guess, you just guess a number. Like, you guess seven. It’s not multiple choice.”
Drew: “Just whoever’s closer.”
Melody: “That one doesn’t make me that worried.”
Drew: “You have to be quick. Because you know that Jason and Rome are going to be running. And Rome’s going to be trying to do a little contact.”
Melody: “He better not, because I’m going to fing shoulder check the f out of him if he does that. Listen, just win the f***ing game.”

Melody: “Mallory — did you see? She made me toast this morning. She brought it to me. She’s like, I made this for you. And she wrote ‘good luck’ in the peanut butter. She’s so cute.”
Drew: “How’d she even do that?”
Melody: “With a knife. I don’t know, but it was so sweet.”

1:25 pm Deven and Drew

Devens pulls his family photos out of the frames to take with him.
Devens: “I’m going to hang them up in my locker, high school style.”
Devens: “Thanks, BB. It’s been real.”
Devens: “That’s my understanding — you can’t keep the frames, but you can keep the pics.”
Drew: “Oh, that’s awesome.”

On where he’s sleeping next.
Devens: “I feel like it’s good for us to have a rep in the pod room. It’s good to spread out a little bit.”
Drew: “Yeah, I think he would be the only one in there. But obviously, she might be a Have-Not next week.”

1:42 pm Mallory, Melody and Lyric

Mallory: “I’m scared. If it’s Jason versus Rome, vote out Rome. And if it’s anyone versus Melody, keep Melody.” She traces where it came from: “I talked to Kamu, and that’s what we’ve been thinking.” Then: “So Rome has to win.”
Lyric: “Yeah… maybe he’ll win it. I got you. I’ll be okay.”
Mallory brings up Angela’s season — a player whose showmance went out early and who still made it to the end.
Lyric: “He actually got evicted week one.”

Lyric: “I don’t even know why people have said something against showmance. It’s not even a showmance. It’s just because Rome wanted to protect me, I got associated with it. Because Rome was a target.”
Mallory: “Devens thought this all out.”
Lyric: “Sick and twisted, huh?”
Mallory: “That’s why he’s got to go. Devens.”
Lyric: “I know. Plain and simple.”
Mallory: “I’m giving him a thumbs down.”

Melody joins.
Lyric: “How are you feeling?”
Melody: “I’m feeling still nervous, of course. It’s one of those things where I feel like no matter what, I’m going to stay. Which is really nice.”
Lyric: “You know we will tell you if you’re in danger.”
Melody: “Yeah, I know. And everyone I’ve talked to — if something else happened, I’d be like, you’re fing joking. I’m walking out and not saying bye to fing anybody.”

Melody: “It’s just more that I really want to win the Blockbuster. Obviously the safety is number one. But really just to be like, I can fing beat these guys. I’ve been in so many competitions. If you’ve been in every fing competition and you haven’t won one, it’s annoying. I want a win. I don’t like to lose. That’s why I came on this show — I like to win.”
Melody: “It’ll be cool too to just see who does win. Because I know I want to go in there and I really want to f***ing win, and I know Rome does and I know Jason does too.”

Melody: “I’ve been thinking about my strategy. If it is the ball one, I think I’ll just literally stance up over it like this. And kind of just start grabbing as many balls as I can. Maybe use my shirt — but it’s so hard when you’re a girl, because what is that really f***ing covering? My shirt’s like this big.”

Lyric: “I think everybody has an equal chance with Blockbuster. They have to make it so that everyone has an equal chance. They can’t make it more, like, physically.”
Melody: “It’s kind of the whole point of the Blockbuster too. Keep people on their toes. Anything can happen.”
Lyric: “Like that one that Yash won didn’t seem like anyone had an advantage.”
Lyric: “It’s such a shit position to be in, though, because one of our people are leaving.”
Melody: “Yeah, no matter what, someone’s leaving. That’s on our side. So we literally need to win HOH. It’s not funny. It’s imperative.”

Melody: “I know you’re on slop, but make sure you eat. Fuel, drink tea, coffee, whatever it is you need to do — because I have a feeling it’s going to be endurance. I don’t know for sure, but they did wake us up later. What Haley was saying was that she thinks it’s going to be a long competition since they let us sleep more. And we haven’t done that yet. There’s a decent amount of us — I feel like they do a lot of endurance ones when there’s still a decent amount of people.”
Mallory: “It might be for people that drop out, or Have-Nots.”
Melody: “If I get it again, I’m going to cry.”

Mallory: “I have a feeling I’m going to win. I’m manifesting it. Or at least one of us will. We can’t be in the buttf*** position again. I’m done getting buttfed.”
Mallory: “I want to just have a week where we can just f
ing chill out.”
Mallory: “We have a decent chance, like, if it’s us three.”
Lyric: “And whoever stays.”

Where it stands. Both sides spent the day prepping for the same two things — a Blockbuster they think is the wind-tube ball comp, and an endurance HOH they’ve reverse-engineered from being allowed to sleep in. The trio has its vote priorities locked through Kamu: Melody survives any pairing, and Rome goes if it’s Rome against Jason, which means Rome has to win to stay. Lyric’s moved past the week — she’s stopped defending the showmance and named Devens as the one who has to go. And Devens is packing up the HOH room and heading for the pod room, spreading the Tool Shed out.

2:01 pm Kemu and Drew

The three work out when to tell Taylor that Jason doesn’t have the votes.
Barrett: “Do we tell Taylor right before the vote? That’s not going to work. I don’t want to leave her in the dark.”
Kamu: “In the moment. Sit next to her.”
Drew: “Right after the Blockbuster, when everyone is hugging.”

Drew: “Bro, I love this game. I would play this again and again.”
Kamu: “I would go on Survivor if they let me.”
Kamu: “That’s how I felt during the blow-up. I looked over at D and I was like, this is awesome… It never ends.”

Drew points upstairs, at the HOH room.
Drew: “We need to get that.”
Drew: “Alliance are gonna throw it, and it’s gonna f*** everything up.”
Kamu: “I don’t think so, dude.”
